אֶל — to me, to you, to him
The preposition אֶל (el) with pronoun endings
אֶל is direction “to, towards”. Before a noun it is almost always replaced by לְ (הָלַכְתִּי לָרוֹפֵא), but with pronouns the forms אֵלַי, אֵלֶיךָ are alive and needed: בּוֹא אֵלַי — come to me.

Example: הִיא הִתְקַשְּׁרָה אֵלַי אֶתְמוֹל — she called me yesterday. תַּחְזֹר אֵלֵינוּ — come back to us.
