Question words
Who, what, where, when, why, how, how many, which
The question word goes first; the rest of the sentence keeps its order. A preposition comes before the question word: עִם מִי? — with whom?, עַל מָה? — about what?

In speech a yes/no question is made by intonation alone: אַתָּה מְדַבֵּר עִבְרִית? The word הַאִם belongs to written and formal Hebrew.
