Âge, dates, argent et « combien de fois »
Les nombres au quotidien : quel genre et dans quel ordre
Quatre situations où le genre du nombre pose problème. L'âge est féminin (on compte des שָׁנִים). Les dates sont masculines (on compte des יָמִים). Les shekels sont masculins (שֶׁקֶל est m.). Les fois sont féminines (פַּעַם est f.).

Littéralement « fils de trente », « fille de vingt-cinq ». Le nombre est féminin car on compte des שָׁנִים (années).

Le jour du mois est masculin (on compte des יָמִים) et prend l'article : הַחֲמִשָּׁה בְּיוּנִי. Seul « le premier » est un ordinal : הָרִאשׁוֹן.

שֶׁקֶל est masculin, donc les nombres sont masculins. À partir de 11, l'oral garde souvent le singulier : עֶשְׂרִים שֶׁקֶל plutôt que עֶשְׂרִים שְׁקָלִים.
