The two ending types: summary
Which prepositions decline like לְ and which like עַל
Every pronoun ending on a preposition belongs to one of two sets. The first is the לְ set (also used on singular nouns). The second, with the letter י, is the עַל set (also used on plural nouns). Learn the two rows and you can decline any preposition.
