Hitpa'el conjugation: לְהִתְלַבֵּשׁ — to get dressed

The mark of hitpa'el is הִתְ in the past and מִתְ in the present. Also: לְהִתְרַחֵץ (to wash oneself), לְהִתְקַשֵּׁר (to call), לְהִתְגַּעְגֵּעַ (to miss), לְהִתְרַגֵּל (to get used to), לְהִתְחַתֵּן (to marry), לְהִתְאַמֵּן (to train), לְהִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ (to use), לְהִסְתַּכֵּל (to look).

When the root starts with ס, שׁ or שׂ, the ת swaps places with it: לְהִסְתַּכֵּל, לְהִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ (not הִתְסַכֵּל). Before צ it becomes הִצְטַ…: לְהִצְטַעֵר (to be sorry); before ז it becomes הִזְדַּ…: לְהִזְדַּקֵּן (to grow old).
